Pallet Garden Update

Pallet Garden
Just a quick update on my pallet garden so far.  I love it!  Here's 7 reasons why...

It's really working out well.  Here's what I like:

  1. It keeps weeds out, it provides "mulch" with the cross boards.
  2. Gives the dogs something to walk on (the boards) instead of in the garden.
  3. They look nice and neat (except the black fabric, I just need to trim it up a bit)
  4. They make it easy to see and do spacing for the plants
  5. Easy to move around (before dirt added).
  6. You can write your plant names on them!
  7. They also make great trellises for cucumbers.
So, I'm liking them.  I've planted seeds and have gotten some babies.
Pallet Garden carrots
Carrots and soon to be potatoes,  This one is 3 pallets deep to accommodate.

Pallet Garden cilantro

Pallet Garden wildflowers

Pallet Garden Romaine lettuce
Romaine Lettuce - isn't it just cute!

Pallet Garden cabbage

Pallet Garden squash
Mystery squash!  I got a variety pack.  We'll see what they turn out to be!

And here's the basic layout.  I did move the ones for the cucumbers to a different area for more sun.
